The Code establishes time-honored and baseline principles that come from the collective experiences of REALTORS® since the Code of Ethics was first established in 1913. Those principles can be loosely defined as:

 Loyalty to clients;

 Fiduciary (legal) duty to clients;

 Cooperation with competitors;

 Truthfulness in statements and advertising; and non-interference in exclusive relationships that other REALTORS® have with their clients.

| My Experience and Background |
I have been a licensed Oklahoma Real Estate Broker since 1975. For many years my side business was Joe Neill Real Estate, selling farms and homes in the Welch, OK area during my spare time. From 1969-2004 I owned and operated Neill Cattle Co, a 14,000 head custom cattle feedlot at Welch, OK and a ranching/farming operation. I also owned Neill Ranch Supply, a retail store for ranch supplies. I was involved in bank ownership from 1982-1997. I also owned and operated Joe Neill Trucking, a cattle and grain hauling business from 1986-2001. In all my former business entities I stressed customer service first. I bring this customer service first attitude to my real estate business.

 In 2003, my wife Dee Ann and I moved to Monkey Island on Grand Lake full time after selling our cattle operations. We found a time in our life that while I want to work and help other people find what I have found here, I also wanted a different pace in my life. The Grand Lake life has been great to us. I appreciate every morning the opportunity God has given me to live on the lake and take in its beauty as I start each day. The first six months of full time lake living I used to rest my body and mind and reflect on my blessings of life. During this time I wrote my story "Down A Bumpy Road But Not Along" and published it through my Brighter Outlook Publishing. The proceeds of the sale of this book go 100% to Maranatha Bible Camp, a Christian youth camp and adult retreat center in Everton, MO. I have served on the board of this fine camp since 1994 and wanted to give something to them to help in their ministry. This book is available from me, area book stores, and Amazon.com.
